Dear Hayden Tigers Families and Community,
What an incredible Homecoming week it has been! The energy throughout our town and in the stands during Friday night’s football game was phenomenal. Both teams played with immense heart and passion from start to finish, and they gave us a game that made our entire community proud.
Our fans brought amazing support and positive energy to the stadium, proving once again how special this town is. We are so lucky to live in a close-knit community filled with wonderful, dedicated people, and I am continually honored to be a Hayden Tiger.
As we celebrate these high-energy moments, it is also important that we reflect on how we represent our town through every win, loss, or tough call. Unfortunately, at the conclusion of the game, a select few individuals used profanity and made derogatory comments toward the game officials—behavior that continued out into the parking lot.
While we all share the intense emotions and pride that come with competitive sports, this type of behavior does not reflect our values. Our children—both the players on the field and the younger kids watching from the stands and parking lot—look to the adults around them to see how to handle frustration and intense moments. We are their primary role models, and they take their cues from us.
We want Hayden to show its best self at all times: passionate, competitive, and respectful. Moving forward, let’s commit to keeping our support positive, showing respect to game officials and opponents, and setting the standard of sportsmanship our young Tigers deserve to see.
Thank you for your continued support, your dedication to our school, and for making this Homecoming week so memorable. Let's keep that positive Tiger pride going strong!

Our high school football team continued the tradition this week of spending time and reading with our kindergarten classes. This is an event the team looks forward to every year, and I think the littles love it too!

For the safety and privacy of our students and families, bus route information is shared only with families who have completed the registration process for bus transportation.
Emails containing student pickup and drop-off times were sent again this morning to registered families. If you have not received an email, please check your spam or junk folder.
If you have not yet completed the bus registration process, please do so as soon as possible through your PowerSchool Parent Portal. Route information will be provided once all required forms have been completed and processed.

📚 Back-to-School Information & Online Registration Update 🐯
Important Athletics/Activities Form Update:
We are aware of an issue within PowerSchool where the Athletics/Activities Form is currently only visible in the PowerSchool mobile app under "General Forms." At this time, it is not appearing when families log in through a computer.
We are actively working with PowerSchool IT to resolve this issue as quickly as possible.
If your student plans to participate in athletics or activities and you are able, you may complete the Athletics/Activities Form using the PowerSchool mobile app while we work on a permanent fix.

Transportation Update – Hwy 40 Construction
Dear Families,
We want to make you aware of ongoing road construction on Hwy 40 and how it may impact our bus routes.
At this time, we anticipate delays affecting our route to November. Please be aware that afternoon drop-offs in Milner may run slightly later than usual depending on construction delays. We ask that you continue to arrive at your normal pick-up time, as exact delays may vary day to day.
We are currently working on a plan for our morning route to Milner and how to best adjust to these changes. If your student’s bus stop is directly affected, you will be contacted with specific information.
We appreciate your patience as we navigate this over the next few days and work to find the best solution for our students and families. Please note that if your student arrives late to school due to these bus delays, they will not be marked tardy.
